Blossom Garden is a project where the synergy of Wrong Weather and Green Circle is aligned to create a reborn collection.
Over the years Wrong Weather has gathered an archive of exceptional pieces that never found an owner and with the vision of Paulo Gomes and his work ethic developed at the Green Circle project, some of Wrong Weather's archival pieces got a new life.
Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten and Wrong Weather's clothing line are the starter for a capsule collection hand-painted by the designer Welica Cordeiro.
Blossom Garden culminates on an installation at Wrong Weather's window shop, where a deconstructed dead tree simulates nature and reminds us of the possibility of rebirth beyond its original purpose.
All the clothing pieces are handpainted by the Portuguese designer Welica Cordeiro.
"We ask for a new garment and we get a flower print shirt, trousers, jacket. We ask for a more responsible fashion statement and we get this capsule collection – a close flirt between the contemporary shop Wrong Weather and the sustainable Portuguese cluster Green Circle by Manifesto Moda.Blossom Garden.
This is a perfect example of the kind of revolution we all need to happen more often in the fashion paradigm: re-use clothing, making a new piece of art with an old and out-of-season garment. Make it re-born. Gain a new life. An even stronger life. Because, like life, clothes can have different stages of life. They can be born under the eye of Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten or Wrong Weather, and blossom again, some years after, under another name, with
another look, a new phase of seduction.

Green Circle
Green Circle is a platform promoted by Selectiva Moda and CITEVE, with consulting by Paulo Gomes. The aim is to create a circular economy where sustainability is the key by linking fashion designers and creators directly to the textile manufacturing industry.
Wrong Weather
Established in 2009, Wrong Weather store was created to provide an immense experience to all those that visit it, both online and instore. We also love to go beyond the shopping affair. Our compelling creative path led us to open the Wrong Weather Gallery, a space on its own, displaying the works of some of the most exciting visual creators and artists of our time.
